The bridegroom was Mr. Clive Morton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morton, also of Manurewa, and the ceremony took place at St. Michael and All Angels Church, Kelburn, when the Rev. Gordon McKenzie officiated.

The bride's charming frock was of gold stiffened cloque, cut on slender lines, and with high neck and long sleeves. She wore also a dainty small brown hat with a veil put back from the face, and carried a sheaf of chrysanthemums in autumn tints with leaves and foliage of the same.

The bridesmaid was Miss Peggy Barnard (daughter of the Hon. W. E. Barnard, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Mrs. Barnard), her frock being of green satin-backed marocain, with trimmings of a- lighter tone, her felt hat being of matching colours. She carried a bouquet of gold and green chrysanthemums and foliage. Mr. Barnard escorted his daughter at the church, and the best man was Mr. Radford, of Wellington. Mrs. F. H. Barnard tManurewa) was in cyclamen ninon with touches of gold, and she wore a velvet hat of a darker tone. Mrs. Barnard was in a dark green suit with hat and accessories to tone.

Mr. Speaker's rooms at the Parliamentary Buildings were charmingly decorated with, blue hydrangeas, pink snapdragons, and dahlias, with maidenhair fern. The wedding cake was decorated in gold and white following (he wedding scheme of colour.
