IDA HELEN BARNARD, daughter of Frederick Henry and Harriet,  was born 25 Oct 1891 in Hawera or New Plymouth, and died 30 Aug 1957 in Nelson. She was a milliner in New Plymouth and later in Auckland and later in life married JAMES FINDLAY in 1948. He was born 1886, Occ: Enginesmith; and died aged 80 years  on 7 Nov 1966 in Nelson.

Ida attended school at Naseby 26 September 1900 where her father was stationed

1931 New Plymouth electoral roll; living at Eliot St, New Plymouth; spinster

1938 New Plymouth electoral roll; living at YWCA Hostel; New Plymouth, spinster

1943 Auckland Central supplementary roll; livng at 15 Symonds St C1; Spinster

Ida's skill was as a milliner first at New Plymouth and later in Auckland, Ida married late in life
