Straddling the A120, Little Hadham nestles along the banks of the Ash and contains many timber framed cottages and farmhouses.  The medieval St Cecilia's Church, was constructed of flints found in the local Fields in the late 14th or 15th century.

Thomas Charles Barnard was born to parents Thomas and Mary Ann at Great Hormead and was christened on 13th June, 1819 at  Little Hadham, Hertford, England
