He married MARY EVELYN NOYER 20 Apr 1920 in Wanganui, daughter of JOHN NOYER and SARAH BEIRNE. She was born 10 Aug 1896 in Wellington dau of John Noyer, Address 17 Tinakori Rd Wellington, and died 03 Jan 1959 in Lower Hutt.

The wedding took place at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church of Miss Mary Evelyn Noyer, eldest daughter; of Mr. and Mrs. Noyer, of Molesworth-street, Wellington, and Mr. Albert Francis (Bert) Hodson, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Hodson, of Wanganui, who is a returned soldier, having served at Gallipoli. The Rev. 'FAther O'Cornipll officiated. The bride, who was given away by her fattier, irore a pretty gabardine tailored costume, with a hat to match, and carried a bouquet of white carnations, cosmeas, autumn leaves, and maidenhair fern. Miss Doris Hodson, the bridesmaid, wore a fawn tailored •costume and hat to match, and carriefl a bouquet of autumn leaves.. Mr. Charlie Booth was the best man: After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. Hodson, Durie Hill. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a'set of furs, and that of the bride to the bridegroom was a leather suit case. Later Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hodson left by motor-car for Hawkes Bay.Tho bridegroom’s present to the bride was a set of furs, and the bride’s gift to tho bridegroom was a leather suitcase.

 Mary Evelyn Noyer wife of Albert Francis Hodson, was dau of John (Jack) Anton Noyer, Address 17 Tinakori Rd Wellington and mother Sarah nee Beirne. Pupil Thorndon School , Wellington; d: 3 Jan 1959 aged 62Y  R.I.P.

NOYER.—On March 20, 1944, at the Otaki Hospital, Sarah Noyer, widow, beloved mother of Mrs. H. Wright, of 51 Riverside Drive, Lower Hutt, Mrs. Hodson, Wanganui, and Mr. F. Noyer, Auckland; aged 77 years. R.I.P.
