Feb 9th 1919: Wilfred went on leave to England where he was retained with the rowing club and his address was with Corp. Day, at H.Q. NZEF. He spent some time in and out of hospital at Codford before leaving London on July 18 1919 for New Zealand on the "Cordoba" where he was again admitted to hospital. His final discharge came 7th November 1919
