Elizabeth Cecelia Preston nee Chambers who died on 13.5.1887 aged 23 years

James Chambers who died on 27.7.1896 aged 78 years

Elizabeth Chambers who died on 12.1.1901 aged 64 years

Erected by James and Elizabeth Chambers in the Sacred Memory of their beloved And only daughter Elizabeth Cecelia Preston who fell asleep in Jesus May 13 1887 aged 23 years

Robert Chambers death certificate information: Occ: Gentleman; Died aged 73 on the 29th April 1858 at Gardiner's Creek Road, Melbourne of chronic disease of the liver. Certified by Dr Bunny, South Yarrow who saw Robert 29th of April. Informant was John Romanis Undertaker of the Chappel St Melbourne. Robert was born in Norwich; 6 months in Melbourne, married in London aged 25 years, wife unknown

There is no inscription for Samuel Prosser or his daughter Caroline although the Cemetery Records show that they are buried with Robert Chambers in Plot 77.  

Samuel's death certificate gives the following information (age 45) in Melbourne; children are John (23) James (21) Samuel (19) William (14) Tom (12) Joshua (?) Elizabeth (?) none deceased. Died 26 Sept 1862 Cause - Suicidal poisoning with laudanum - Parents John Prosser (Publican) and Jane Prosser formerly Cook (this information incorrect - John Prosser's bride's name was Jane Simmons Src: (batch) number: M02069-1 system origin: England-ODM film number: 585446, 585447, 585448) ) Where born (?) England. 5 years in Melbourne; Where married - Brompton near London age 21
