Hermoine Beatrice Prosser was b: 13 Dec 1884 in Opunake She was the daughter of Samuel Prosser and Elizabeth Ophelia Isabella Tidd. At the age of 25 years, on 23rd Nov 1911 in St Barnabus Church, at Opunake, Hermoine Beatrice Prosser mar: Benjamin Harold Budden, the son of Benjamin Budden (1855–1932) and Phoebe Marinda Holdaway (1857–1938). He was b: 13 Sep 1882 in Te Ore Ore (Masterton) They were second cousins and had five children. Benjamin was a Farmer at Pokuru, Te Awamutu OPUNAKE.

At the Anglican
Church, Opunake, Miss H. Prosser, daughter of the late
Mr Samuel Prosser, and of Mrs Prosser, of Pihama, was
married to Mr F. Budden, of Te Awamutu. The Rev. H. W. Klingender
officiated at the ceremony. Mr J. Prosser was best man and Miss
Budden bridesmaid. At the wedding breakfast a large number of
guests sat down and the usual toasts were honored. Mr A. McKeown replied
on behalf of the bride's mother. The late Mr Samuel Prosser will be
no doubt remembered by many as proprietor of the coach service that in the
early days ran from Paremata and Porirua to Wellington.
On 14 January 1941, her husband, Benjamin Harold Budden died at Te Awamutu Hospital aged 58Yrs - his bur: 15 Jan 1941 at Te Awamutu Cem.. Hermoine Beatrice Budden died d: 19 Mar 1957 in Hamilton Bur: Te Awamutu) Their children: 1. Bessie Christina Florence Budden (b: 19 Sep 1912 in Te Awamutu; d: 16 Jul 1950 in Hamilton; Bur: Te Awamutu) She mar: 22 Jun 1938 at Te Awamutu Robert Millar* Anderson (b: 29 Oct 1906 in Oparau, Otorohanga, in the Waikato, the eldest child of Barbara Ann McLauchlan and Thomas Baxter Anderson; he d: 31 Dec 1989 in Te Awamutu Crem: 03 Jan 1990 Te Awamutu) They farmed sheep on Pirongia West Road - a "desolate, wind swept area"; but Millar loved it none the less. A concerned and active citizen and a true gentleman in every sense of the word", is how his daughter Jean described him. Bessie spent increasing time
in Hospital, until she passed away in 1950. After Bessie's
death, Millar sold the bush farm and bought a property at Te
Kawa.
Millar was
very proud of his five children and fifteen grandchildren. "A family man,
a farmer - Millar re-married in 1951, to Ivy Gordan. He milked 27 cows which were an economic unit in those days. He supported his children in their interests and was a scouter when the boys were cubs and scouts. Millar and Ivy sold the farm at Te Kawa and bought another at Kio Kio, on the back road to Otorohanga and eventually retired to Te Awamutu., after selling the farm to his eldest son Graham. Millar spent his retirement lawn mowing and gardening for a number of people, especilly Elderly ladies on their own. In his spare time he was an avid reader and was associated with the Te Awamutu museum and historical society, as well as the Presbyterian church. He loved his garden and grew perfumed sweat peas. Millar died in Te Awamutu just after Christmas, on December 31st 1989 aged 83 yrs. Their family:

3 Barbara Grace Constance Budden (b: 16 Aug 1928 in Te Awamutu Occupation: Clerk d: 26 Sep 2012) mar: 18 Jun 1955 in Congregational Church, Wellington to Fred Jamieson (b: 15 Nov 1924 in Hebburn, England Occ: Brewery Fitter d: 22 Aug 1995 in Porirua) They have 4 children:
