 Isabel Clare Prosser, the second daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Prosser was born: 03 Oct 1876 in Pahautanui.

BIRTH. Evening Post, 11 October 1876: PROSSER.— On the 3rd October, at Pahautanui Hotel, Pahautanui, the wife of Samuel Prosser, of a daughter. [Nelson papers please copy.]

Isabel was 41 when she married 1st Dec 1917 at the home of Percy Sole, Oanui to Thomas Charles Eversfield.

31 Mar 1901: Census Thomas Eversfield was 20, birthplace Rochester, Kent living with parents and aged 24, a labourer when he immigrated from London arriving at Wellington on the Athenic  01 Jan 1906. After his marriage, in 1917 his occupation was "Erecting Engineer" Military Call Up at New Plymouth, in the NZ Gazette and embarked 27 July 1918.

Isabel died 30 Nov 1919 in New Lynn, Auckland and was buried Dec 2nd at Opunake Cemetery.

OPUNAKE: The remains of the late Mrs Eversfield were laid to rest in the local cemetery on Wednesday. The Rev. Mr Palmer performed the last sad rites. The funeral was a large one, and was indicative of the esteem in which the deceased lady was held throughout the district, representatives being present from most parts of Taranaki."

Thomas became a farmer on the Junction Road at Inglewood and he remarried in 1943 to Eileen Rose Boyle. He died 10th June 1947 and was buried at the  Inglewood Cemetery on June 12; Memorial Area, Row G1 Plot 13N
