Richard Lethbridge was born 2 Jan 1794 at Ermington, Devon, the son of Christopher and Sapience Lethbridge and was christened there on 29 Jan 1794. He died 3rd Jun 1873 and was buried 5 June at Te Henui Cemetery, New Plymouth, New Zealand.  Richard's wife was Louisa Mary nee Yates b Nov 1799 Parish of Stoke Demerel, Devon,  Baptised there 26 Dec 1799 . They mar 17 May 1820 St Andrews, Plymouth and immigrated with their family on the Oriental arriving at New Plymouth on Nov 7, 1841.
