She mar: 10th Apr 1844 to widower WILLIAM COOMBS at Moorlynch, Somerset. He was b: Abt. 1811 in Moorlinch, Somerset, the son of JAMES COOMBS and MARY SINGER and d: 1866 in Bridgwater.

William Coombe's parents were JAMES (b:1800) and MARY (b: 1797) They had a farm called Polden Hills - their sons, William b: 1811; James Coombs b; 1817; Joseph Coombs (1821-1909) (George Coombs) b: 1825. Moorlinch is part of the extensive grazing marsh grasslands and ditch systems of the Somerset Levels and Moors, lying in the Parrett Basin at the foot of the Polden Hills - the area drains by gravity into the King�s Sedgemoor Drain.

William Coombes 1st marriage in 1833 was to Alice Miller (b: 1815 d: 1838) and they had 3 children  born in Moorlinch, Somerset: Mary Coombs b: 1834; William Coombs b: 1836 and Jane Coombs b: 1838

After Alice's death, Ann became step-mother to the three children, and with her daughter Emma, with William they added 9 more - total 13.
