Claude was the youngest of 7 children born to William John Pycroft (b: 09 Dec 1879 in Alverstoke, Hampshire, England son of Wm John Pycroft and Martha Edney; he d: 05 Nov 1975 in New Plymouth, Taranaki) William married: 1903 to Fanny Hodson (b: 23 Sep 1879 in Taranaki; d: 1948 in 67Y - her Father: Francis (Frank) Thomas Hodson Mother: Diana Jacob)
