WEDDINGS: TRUMPERóDONNITHORNE. A quiet but pretty wedding took place at St. Andrews Church, New Plymouth on Wednesday, 21st ult., when Miss Lucy Victoria Trumper, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs Trumper, Riverslea, Temuka, was married to Mr William Henry Donnithorne, third son of Mr and Mrs John Donnithorne, of Temuka. The Rev. Blundell performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked very dainty in an ivory crepe-de-chine frock with georgette overdress, with touches of palest pink. She also wore the customary veil and orange blossom, and carried a lovely bouquet of camelias, heath, arum lilies and maidenhair fern. The bride was attended by her cousin, Alice Mabel Guildford, as bridesmaid, who wore a lovely frock of turquoise blue crepe-de-chine, trimmed with black velvet ribbon and old gold embroidery, and a pretty black lace hat finished with wreath of buttercups, and carried a bouquet of yellow and white flowers aud maidenhair fern. She also wore a lovely pearl and aquamariue pendant and gold chain, the gift of the bridegroom. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Dougald Paterson as best; man. After the ceremony a reception was held by the bride's parents at the Hygienic Tea Rooms, where the usual toasts were proposed and honoured. Later in the day Mr and Mrs Donnithorne left by train for Hawera, en route for Auckland, where the honeymoon is being spent. The bride's travelling dress was a navy costume, with lovely creme silk scarf and a black velour hat finished with a white ostrich plume.
