 Reginald Gordon* Benbow was b: 24 Oct 1916 in Timaru to parents Agnes and Reginald Benbow; he d: 11 Nov 2000 in Parklands Hospital, Christchurch 1924 - Admitted to Temuka Primary School 4th Feb. home address - North Belt, Temuka, and left 20 Feb 1928 for Hilton. 1930's - After leaving school Gordon worked for a time at the Temuka Insulators then joined the NZ Railways. His work took him all over Canterbury and the West Coast until retirement.
