WAITARA. TARANAKI HERALD, 21 MARCH 1910. Very general regret was felt when the news of the death of Mrs. Alfred Rowe was learnt. The deceased lady when on holiday to Wellington contracted influenza some two months ago and was far from well on her return. Since then, pneumonia set in and although everything that medical skill could suggest was done, the patient gradually sank, and passed away on Saturday morning, the immediate cause of death being heart failure. Great sympathy is felt for Mr Rowe in his sad bereavement.

1917 Hawera and Normanby Star;  AWATUNA: The following: were elected: Messrs W. Toheck. T. Kuekstep, R. S. Surrey, J. Bradford, and A. Rowe.
