Children of Eva and James Hodson are:

1. DORIS EVANGELINE HODSON, b. 16 Oct 1890, Wanganui; d. 10 Apr 1954, 63 years, Wanganui; mar. JOHN (JACK) KERR in 1922.

2. IDA GLADYS HODSON was born 28 Jan 1892 in Wanganui, and died there in 19 Mar 1968 aged 76Y. Burial Aramoho.  She married WALTER JACK SCOTT son of James Muir Scott, "Rushworth," Victoria, on 09 Dec 1914 at Gonville, Wanganui. He was born 1884, was a draper in Wanganui where he died 17 May 1928 and is buried at Aramoho.

Their Children -

i. Walter James Muir* Scott (b.30/3/1917 d. 1/1/1992) married 1940 Josephine Eleanor Abbott  (b. 13/2/1922 d. 10/10/2004) Daughters are Marion, Lynley, Kathleen, Rosalie and Carolyn

ii. Eva Beryl Scott (b. 29/7/1920 d. 14/2/1980) married in 1942 Eric Charles Manssen (B.25/10/1916 d. 4/6/1999) Children are Glen, Selwyn, twins Sheryl and Darack  

iii. Norma - details unknown

iv. Roy Douglas Scott was born 12 Mar 1925 and died: 4 Oct 1992 in Wanganui. He married Jill Allyn La Roche in 1947 and their children are Lyall, Brian, Annette and Wendy

3. ALBERT FRANCIS (BERT) HODSON (b: 29 Apr 1893 in Wanganui, he d: 26 Aug 1944 in Wanganui aged 51Y; Bur; Aramoho Cem.) He mar: 20 Apr 1920 in Wanganui to MARY EVELYN NOYER , daughter of JOHN ANTONY NOYER and SARAH nee BERINE. (b: 10 Aug 1896 in Wellington, and d:03 Jan 1959 in Lower Hutt.)

4. JAMES ARTHUR HODSON, b. 26 Nov 1894, Wanganui; d. 23 Mar 1910, Wanganui - Heads Rd Cemetery aged 15 years.

5. KATHLEEN ALICE HODSON, b. 16 Jun 1896, Wanganui; d. 12 Feb 1897, Burial  Location Wanganui - Heads Rd cemetery aged 8 months.

6. EVA HODSON, b. 10 Jul 1897, Wanganui; d. 10 Jul 1897, Wanganui. Heads Rd.

7. EDGAR RAYMOND HODSON, b. 17 Aug 1898, Wanganui; Service Station proprieter d. 23 Jul 1958, Wanganui; m. HAIDEE FRANCES OLIVE HOLMES in 1923; b. 1900 the dau. of Ethel Alfred Henagl Holmes, Wanganui; d. 09 Feb 1979, Wanganui.

8. REGINALD ROY HODSON, b. 13 Nov 1900, Wanganui; d. aged 19 yrs on 23 Nov 1918, Wanganui. Buried at Heads Rd Cemetery, Wanganui.

9. BERNARD ANDREWS HODSON, was born 10 Oct 1902 in Wanganui, and died 27 Sep 1985 in Auckland. He married MYRA MAGDALENE BERTHA FORBES 1928. She was born 11 Aug 1904 at Lawrence, and died Oct 1976 Age 72, at Mt Albert, Auckland and is buried at Mangere Lawn Cemetery. Their children Neville Bernard James, Stella Elaine and Trevor John Hodson

10. ELSIE EDNA HODSON, was born 30 Sep 1907 in Wanganui, and died 26 Sep 1989. She married JAMES LEITCH in 1943. Their son is David Leitch.

11. ERIC ARNOLD HODSON was born 15 Feb 1910 in Wanganui d: 26 Jun 1980 in Wanganui - his burial: Aramoho Cemetery. He married Margreita Hilda Drake and their children are Dianne and Wayne.

12. KEITH JAMES HODSON born abt 1915 married in 1934 JEAN MILLAR.

Heather Irwin is great-grandaughter of Rebecca. She sent the photo of Eva with possibly sister Rebecca standing together on the balcony of their home, James at the entry and the Hodson family group. The Hodson's Wanganui house photo sent courtesy of Peter Cory in Sydney. This hung in the hallway of his mother's (Rosalind Corey)  home at Drummoyne, NSW and originally belonged to his grandmother,  Rebecca Hicks (nee Griffin. 

Heather believes Eva named the Hodson Durie Hill house below "Huirangi" and maybe the photo was given to Rebecca during this visit...??
