Eileen (b: 7 October 1918, d; 1995)  mar; Gordon while he was training with the Navy during WW2. Later Gordon was successful in winning a ballot for a rehabilitation farm at Montatto (mid-Canterbury) in 1949. His  son Trevor took over in 1970  and Gordon retired to Picton where he became treasurer for the RSA  for 15 years, 9 of which he was secretary also.  Gordon  and Eileen  are bur: at Picton Cemetery, Blenheim
