farmers went to much trouble, inconvenience and expense to help in
the
management of the class and the thanks of the Board were
especially
due to Messrs S McCully, G B Cartright, S Trumper and A R
Guild, who
all have sheds of their own but who used the Associations shed for
a part
of the time so the course was completed and ensure the success of
the
technical Association.
27 Aug 1918: The Medical
Board now sitting at Timaru has passed the following additional men as
fit for active service - S W Trumper.
3 Dec 1918: Influenza Temuka Presbyterian S.S. Pneumonia Hospital opened - cases 12 women, 9 men; Trumper gifted a load of firewood and a fat sheep. Gifts of
butter and eggs welcomed.
10 Dec 1919: Land Sale - subdivision of over 600 acres at Orari - S Trumper purchased Lot 1 of 52 acres £61; Lot2 of 52 acres £68
May 1924 S Trumper elected to St John's church vestry at Winchester; also installed as Master of the Winchester Lodge.
16 Dec 1924: Temuka Technical Association: Sam Trumper continues his support providing sheep for the shearing class.
