CHARLOTTE AMY DOROTHY BARTRUM was the eldest child of parents Ben and Amy Bartrum.

Press, 30 Nov 1883:  Bartrum—On November 29th, at Creek Station, Geraldine, the wife of B. P. Bartrum, of a daughter both doing well.

1911 TEACHERS' EXAMINATIONS: Successful Timaru candidates who obtained full passes in their class in teachers' certificate examinations:— Class C—Charlotte Bartrum.

Ashburton Guardian, , 23 July 1910 Owing to the increased attendance at the Winslow school, .the Board of Education has granted the committee's request for a mistress, and Miss Bartrum, who has been appointed, will assume her duties on August Ist. The attendance at the school is close on fifty scholars.

Press, , 26 Nov 1917:(From our London correspondent.) LONDON:  Miss Charlotte Amy Dorothy Bartrum, eldest daughter of the late Mr B P Bartrum, of Fairlie, Canterbury, was married, on July 8th, at the Cathedral Church at Tai-an- Fu, Shantung, North China, to the Rev. Ives T. Stocker. of the Anglican Mission, a son of Colonel M. Stocker, of Merton Park, S.W. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. G. Mawson.  

Dorothy's husband Ives Theodore Stocker was born 07 Jul 1877 in Gibraltar Bapt: 30 Jul 1877 Gibraltar. (His father was Maurice Edward Corey Stocker (b: 17 Jan 1834 Titchfield, d: 15 Sep 1924 in Wimbledon, Surrey, England) and his mother was Augusta Theodora Jenkins (b: 17 Jan 1852.in Turnham Green, West London d: 3 Aug 1920 in Wimbledon, Surrey)

1910 - Rev. Ives Stocker, on the Church of England Mission Staff at P'ingyin. Shantung He and Dorothy had no children He died 1931 in Surrey, Prince Edward Island, Canada.

1921 St Johns Daily News - Aug. 14. - Rev. Ives Stocker, and wife of China, visit New Foundland, and address Church of England congregations.

1926 - London 

15 Feb 1927 - London, England - West Ham Ruride Canal Conference, Address by Rev. Ives Stocker on 'China Yesterday and Today' 

 June 1927 - Rev. Ives Theodore Stocker presented a Bible which had been sold by Thomas Guy in 1687 to GUY'S HOSPITAL. The front pages show descent of bible through the Stocker Family who were connected with the hospital

20 Oct 1933 - New Zealand Herald; CHINESE MISSION WORK - A gathering of New Zealandcrs interested in mission work in China was held recently in Chefoo, North China. Among those present were Mrs. Ives Stocker, formerly Miss Bartrum, of Canterbury College and Auckland University College.

1942 - Rev. Ives Stocker is Port Chaplain at the Temple Hill, Japanese Prisoner of War Camp

He died abt Dec 1960 aged 83 yrs at Surrey and Dorothy returned to New Zealand and rejoined her family and died 11 Jul 1971 - she was buried with her parents at St David’s Anglican Church, Raincliff, South Canterbury.
