Annie Louisa Pursey and Peter Iverach
William Iverach, his wife Isabella nee Budge and their four children, Peter, Margaret, James and Isabella came to New Zealand as assisted immigrants on the maiden voyage of the ship "Glenmark" which left Gravesend, London on 29 Oct 1864 and arrived at Lyttleton on 21 Jan 1865. William's father, Peter Iverach had farmed 125 acres at Keiss Castle and lived at Keiss House. WILLIAM IVERACH was born November 08, 1834 in Caithness, Thurso, Scotland, and died August 15, 1905 in Sefton, North Canterbury. He married ISABELLA BUDGE February 08, 1855 in Olrig, Caithness, Scotland. She was born 1835 in Caithness, Scotland, and died August 18, 1881 in Mt Grey. Electoral roll 1882/84 finds

born Scotland residing Ashley, the son of William (farmer) and Isabell Iverach (nee Budge) Witnessed by Thomas W Pursey to Annie Louisa, aged 20, spinster, born New Zealand and resident of Ashley, daughter of T W Pursey, farmer and Sarah Ann nee Cone. Officiating minister R Tout, Presbyterian.
Peter was a Blacksmith by trade and he and Annie lived at Loburn when first married and they later bought a sheep farm at "Harpsdale" Waiau at Rotherham, 76 miles NE from Christchurch. In later years, Annie did not keep good health.

(2) Mona Campbell IVERACH Born 18th September 1925 at Waikari, Nth Canterbury. Mona passed away on 31/12/2004 at Christchurch Hospital and her funeral was held on 5/1/2005 at Bryndwr Baptist Church at 2pm and internment at the Avonhead Park Cemetery.
