Thurs. 5th Oct. We leave Goolwa and continue our tour to the town of Penola where we visit the Interpretative Centre for Mary McKillop, Australia's first canonised saint and learn about her charitable work in orphanages and education through the order of nuns she founded.
Our journey continues through the rich farmland to Mount Gambier where we view the Blue Lake and follow the scenic coast to Port Fairy. At dusk, we view kangaroos and koalas in their natural habitat. Our overnight stay is at Warramboo at the Sundowner Mid-City Motor Inn. View photos of day's events Joke for today |
