So, after an eventful three weeks, our time has come to leave Melbourne, the capital city of the state of Victoria. It is the second largest city with the second busiest airport in Australia.

We make our farewells at the Melbourne hotel to those who have extended their stay and travel along the busy road to the airport located to the north of the city and report in at 10.am. to check in luggage and many make last minute purchases for family.

Our flight back to New Zealand left at noon and we touch-down at Auckland at 6.20pm
