Wed. 27th Sept. From Madura we travel along low series of hills flanking the highway - a long, straight strip of bitumen and a land becoming increasingly arid.
At Eucla we explored the ruins of an old telegraph station nestled amongst the Delisser Sandhills and experienced exhilaration of standing on the edge of the Bunda Cliffs - here Mel surprised us with lamingtons and biscuits!
We cross the South Australia-Western Australia border (obeying quarantine laws) We enjoyed watching the southern right whales and then on to the South Australian wheatbelt, drought hampering growth and stop at Ceduna the night.
